Open office hours in Shoreditch on Mondays
For the past few weeks, I’ve been doing office hours in east London. I’m enjoying it and it seems to be useful, so I’m going to open it up a bit. It’s still an experiment-in-progress, but details are below if it’s relevant.
Description: Weekly office hours in Shoreditch. If 30 minutes of chat might be helpful for your startup ambitions, book a slot on Mondays from 3-6 and drop on by.
On the other hand, if you just want to knock back a couple beers with likeminded startup folk, then perhaps you are looking for burger night?
Stuff we can talk about: I don’t want to get into tech support, but am happy to help with product strategy, pitch work, customer development stuff, business models, finding startup ideas that suit you, and figuring out how to test & structure your roadmap. Basically, anything which doesn’t involve me looking at code and can fit in half an hour (and also, with the caveat that I hardly have all the answers).
Logistics: I’m just testing this as an idea, so not sure if I’ll do it long term or whether the 30 minute time blocks are ideal. I imagine it being about 20 minutes of talk around one or two topics, with 10 minutes of buffer time to ensure the next one can start on time. I’ll also kick you out after 30 minutes even if I don’t have an immediate appointment so I can work on my own stuff — no hard feelings

Hello- I was wondering if you know anything about business finance? I randomly came across your blog and am looking for someone to help me with the financial aspects of a business in a language that is simple to make it easier to understand. I am not asking you to help me figure out the finance of my own business- I am looking for help for a finance class I am taking….
I am not in London- I am in Boston! But I am looking for as many sources- online and in person- as possible to get through this finance course I currently am taking at Tufts University. It is a toughie!
